The real question should be, why would I want to celebrate Halloween as a Christian? Mathew 5:16 states, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. If we are to let our light shine, why take part in something that represents evil?

Halloween like many other topics in the Christian community seem to have a split opinion depending on which person you are talking to. Some will say it is ok to celebrate Halloween, “I don’t dress up in scary costumes”, “It’s fun for the kids”. Others will say no do not celebrate Halloween “stay far from it”. Who is right and who is wrong? We are going to cover ten reason’s not to celebrate Halloween as a Christian.

The real question should be, why would I want to celebrate Halloween as a Christian? Mathew 5:16 states, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. If we are to let our light shine, why take part in something that represents evil?

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
    -Ephesians 5:11

Reason #1

Halloween is the Devil’s Holiday

People mindlessly celebrate Halloween without realizing that this is the biggest day where witches and warlocks all around the world practice satanic ceremonies to bring attacks on the church and our communities. Witches and warlocks are real and not mythical characters that were made up for storytelling.

Reason #2

Curses behind the pumpkin by the door

The pumpkin represents the demon who controls the rivers whose name is “OSHUN”. A type of jezebel in Santeria. This pumpkin brings demons into your home when you put the pumpkin at your door on Halloween. You are giving the devil an entry way into your home and family.

Reason #3

You open doors through celebrating Halloween

The devil loves it when believers celebrate Halloween and get dressed up no matter how much you read the bible. He loves Christians who celebrate Halloween because it brings a four to five generation curse to your family. He knows that the next generation will celebrate Halloween as a ripple effect and attach the curse to other family members.

Reason #4

Harvest is not a substitute for Halloween

Churches who celebrate Halloween or Harvest bring a curse to the church and upon the children of the church when you substitute this holiday.

Why create a substitute for this demonic Holiday?

If you celebrate harvest festivals, you celebrate Halloween. We feel like we must entertain people to keep them in the church or have them come back. This is not the truth; we must bring the cross and let God do the rest.

Reason #5

The delusions behind costumes

This is one of the biggest delusions to the church. The devil changed Adam’s and Eve’s identity when they were in the garden. When Christian’s put on a costume of something, they open themselves up to demonic attacks, your identity has changed. The devil is the biggest identity thief, he tried to make Jesus question is own identity when he tempted him. In Matthew chapter 4 it he says, ‘If you’re really the Son of God…”. Many Christians walk around without an identity to what has called them to be. They do not know their purpose but, they sure do know how to celebrate Halloween.

Reason #6

It’s the opposite of Christ

Halloween is the opposite of Resurrection Sunday. The importance we have when we celebrate Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday is the same type of importance to devil worshippers when they celebrate Halloween.

Reason #7

November 1st is not about the Saints

The day after Halloween is Saint Day November 1st. They bring food offerings to dead relatives but it is truly demonic.

Reason #8

It is betrayal to God

In 1 Corinthians 10:21 it says “Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils”. How can you call yourself blessed and saved while celebrating Halloween? For example, it is like a married couple saying they love one another, and they go off and commit adultery.

Reason #9

Curses become active when Halloween begins

Curses start when they celebrate Halloween. The whole picture of Halloween is to bow down to the devil. The biggest witchcraft is done on Halloween coffins, bones, etc… Halloween is an abomination to God. When you create Harvest or Halloween Party, carving pumpkins, putting up spider webs on windows, buying goblins, or any other demonic related object you must repent. Cut off those ties and close off those spiritual doors, break the curses off your family and the next three to four generations in your family line.

Reason #10

Halloween is a trap set up by the devil

Halloween is a poison to believers and non-believers alike. Many people get killed, shot, and go missing on Halloween. Do not play with fire, if you play with fire, you will burn your whole house down. The devil has a mastermind strategy on how to deceive people, he is the father of lies. The devil kills, steals, and destroys through these types of Holidays and culturally encouraged traditions. It is a trap set up. The enemies’ purpose is to keep you away from God.

1 Corinthians 10:20 says:

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

The lies and deception may appear “harmless”, “good”, or “cool”.

2 Corinthians 11:14 says:

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

These deceptions are the devil’s way to send you to a place called hell. God has predestined us to spend eternally with him in heaven. It is time to repent and make right with God, life is not a game. Now the truth has been spoken to you about Halloween. Do not be fooled into thinking it is ok to celebrate Halloween, harvest, or any other substitute name for it.
